Busy Philipps Biography

Busy Philipps is an American actress, producer , writer, and director.  She is well known for her role on Freaks and Geek, Dawson’s Creek and ER, and starring as Laurie Keller on Cougar Town.

Education

Philipps grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her first professional acting job was playing a real-life Barbie doll for a Mattel convention. She attended Loyola Marymount University, where her boyfriend was fellow actor Colin Hanks.
