Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner is a cornerback for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He was born on August 31, 2000. (NFL).

He played college football at Cincinnati, and the Jets picked him with the fourth pick in the NFL Draft of 2022.

Gardner went to high school in Detroit, Michigan, at Martin Luther King High School. In high school, he played wide receiver and cornerback.

Before his senior year in 2018, 247Sports said that Gardner was one of the top five players in his class in the state of Michigan. Gardner caught four passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns in the Division 3 State Championship.

The Associated Press put Gardner on the first team of All-State defensive backs at the end of the season. He was a three-star recruit and promised to play college football at the University of Cincinnati.
